The talk of I-73 has been going on for a very long time. The need of a direct corridor from here to Michigan is overwhelming, since most of the areas visitors come from the Midwest.

The I-73 Corridor is designed to be a direct route from the area up through North Carolina, Virginia, West Virgina, Ohio and Michigan.

Monday March 28th, 2011, is the last day Grand Strand residents can voice their concerns about such things as hurricane evacuation routes and what the interstate could mean to a specific community.

Furthermore, the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce is urging business owners and locals to speak up in support of the I-73 Connector. Read more on the I-73 Corridor over at Carolina Live
