Cupcake Takes on WINGS!

Charleston, SC: Cupcake is joining forces with WINGS, the non-profit program in the Charleston area with a Cupcake Challenge resulting in a sweet reward in November!

The Cupcake Challenge will occur at all WINGS programs at Chicora, North Charleston, Memminger and James Simmons Elementary. The challenge is to see how the students live up to the Wings Creed. Each WINGS school will be challenged and awarded a grand prize. Each WINGS program divides their students into small groups called nests. Each nest will work independently for this challenge.

The Cupcake Challenge will occur during the week of October 24 - November 4th. Each student will demonstrate what they have learned from the WINGS Creed. Executive staff will observe the actions during this time. Staff members will give sweet stamps to the individual or a nest group. At the end of two weeks, the group from each school with the most sweet stamps will be award the grand prize. The grand prize consist of a Birthday Party at Cupcake’s Belle Hall Shopping Center location. Each winning nest will be taken to Mt. Pleasant on different days during the week of November 14th to celebrate the accomplishment. The other students participating in the Cupcake Challenge will be visited by the Cupcake Mobile to enjoy Cupcake’s delicious minis.

The WINGS program builds on student’s social and emotional skills added to the building blocks for successful, educated and responsible individuals of our future.
