Charleston Fashion Week night one: The after parties

The first night of Charleston Fashion Week also meant the first night of Charleston Fashion Week after parties.

In an attempt to alleviate the stampede of Charlestonians from the tent to one bar, Charleston Fashion Week decided this year to feature two official after parties each night.

Fish's after partied contained a subdued, but solid, crowd. Notable attendees included Stacy Smallwood, owner of Hampden Clothing; Brooke Ryan, of Two Girls and a Guy; Julie Wheat, of Cavortress; and a handful of models including Rock the Runway Competition Finalist Becca Dupre.

The crowd mostly mingled downstairs early in the night, despite a second full bar in the private upstairs dining room.

Hopping across town, the newest addition to the Charleston social set, Club NV, was packed with a mix of Charleston Fashion Week followers and the expected "Market St." set.

In attendance were Mychael Knight, of Project Runway fame and Wednesday night's Featured Designer, Carol Hannah Whitfield, of Project Runway, and Logan Neitzel, also of Project Runway.

On deck for tonight: Chais Loung and Torch.

Photos to come.
