Chamber to Update on Marketing Plans

The question on where and how the Myrtle Beach Chamber is spending that Ad Sales penny tax has been a hot one over the past couple years.

Coming this Thursday the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce will update its members and the public on where some of those Ad Tax dollars are going. The highlights include their efforts in Mobile Marketing and Social Networking

The public portion of the event begins at 9 a.m., but is preceded by a breakfast for chamber members only. The event begins with a presentation on using public relations to attract customers by consultant Margi Booth, whose remarks will be followed by chamber officials and a representative of marketing group Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday.

To find out where to register for the meeting and to read up on I-7 and other roadworks projects please head on over to The Sun News. Also, you can find a little tidbit on the upcoming Brunswick Island Home & Garden show.
