"Aluminum Assault" from the Academy of Arts, Science, & Technology represented the Grand Strand at the Palmetto Regional competition in Charleston.

More specifically, they earned the "Innovation in Control Award sponsored by Rockwell Automation" for the engineering on their mini-bot. They also secured a spot at the April competition in Raleigh, NC.

WMBF has more details on the team and event.
