22nd Annual Cabooty Holiday Pary and Auction

Rockin’ out for a great
cause

It’s time for Camp Happy Days’ 22nd
Annual Holiday Party benefitting its year round programs for South Carolina’s
children fighting cancer. Guests at Memminger Auditorium will be wined and
dined while dancing to Charleston’s greatest party band, Plane Jane, and
bidding on numerous silent and live auction items.  The annual “Cabooty Christmas Party” is one of
Camp Happy Days biggest fundraisers each year.

The party is organized by Allan
“Cabooty” Cabading, a survivor of childhood cancer and one of Camp Happy Days
very first counselors.  Thanks to Allan,
what started as a tree trimming party 22 years ago in Allan’s apartment collecting
canned goods for the homeless, has grown into a major fundraiser for Camp Happy
Days.

Tickets are $50 per person and
include heavy hor d’oeuvres and a full bar. Attendees will be able to make last
minute 2011 tax-deductible donations while walking away with auction prizes
like two round-trip tickets to a one-week stay in a front beach condo at San
Diego’s Mission Beach, a hunting trip, a deep-sea fishing trip and 12 months
worth of fancy dinners around Charleston.
