Charleston's Original Mac & Cheese Competition. November 12, 2010 from 7-11 pm at Downtown Charleston’s Visitor’s Center Bus Shed (375 Meeting Street). The MAC-OFF will give Charlestonians the chance to get out and enjoy the crisp weather with great comfort food, live music, beer and wine, and other activities.

• 12-14 participating restaurants set up under tents throughout the venue with their macaroni and cheese samples
• Guests may purchase tickets for to sample each entry.  $1 per sample. Sampling starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm.  Guests will then vote on their favorite mac and cheese and votes will be tabulated.  The winning entry will receive the "Peoples Choice" for The Best Mac & Cheese in Charleston.
• Guest judges will also be on hand to select a "Critics Choice".

A portion of the proceeds benefit Charleston Peace One Day and 501c3’s Charity CP1D’s mission to decrease violence in Charleston through conflict resolution education programming in our local schools.. Tickets are $5 in advance $10 at the door.  http://charlestonmacoff.com/
