U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett gets a thumbs up in S.C. governor race

At The Citadel Republican Society's annual Patriot Dinner a straw poll was held to see which Republican candidates for Governor and Lt. Gov. were favored by the group.

The Post and Courier reports that with a pitch on economic reform, infrastructure, and education, U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett faired quite well. Not fairing as well was Attorney General Henry McMaster who didn't attend.
