Too early to tell for most locals on McCain's VP pick

Sure, there's been a lot of back and forth about Sarah Palin on the national stage, but how do locals feel about the choice?

Live 5 News decided to find out. And? People just don't know yet, an excerpt:
But most seemed hesitant to form an opinion on a woman they don't know much about.

"I don't know much about her, so it's gonna be interesting," another man said.

"I don't think I'm ready to comment yet," another woman said. "I gotta learn a little more about her."

Keep up with 2008 election at a local level on our presidential election guide page.The Post and Courier went out and got the state politicians' reactions to the choice, but it's as you'd expect: Republicans think it's great, Democrats think it's not so great.

My take? Too early to tell, because it is. But we'll know soon, we have just more than 60 days to the 2008 election.
