Surprisingly, Sanford dropped a pretty dime on polling, consulting
Wolfe Reports points out that during the months leading up too and during the stimulus battle, Governor Mark Sanford spent well over $10,000 dollars on polling and political consultation.
Politicians have need for such things, but the timing around the stimulus battle is curious. Maybe he was trying to see what the public thought of his controversial stance against the money.
Regardless, the upswing in expenditures by this fiscally conservative gov' is curious.
