P&C: Air Sanford's missteps in an ethics hearing

With the back-and-forth about Gov. Mark Sanford's indiscretions seemingly ever growing as more dirt is uncovered, it was nice to read a generally well-reasoned piece by The Post and Courier suggesting that the matters be hashed out by the South Carolina Ethics Commission.

Hop over to the paper to take a read.

Of course, as the paper points out, there's still the sticky issue of the comission's appointees being the governor's appointees. Maybe it's not wrong, but it's certainly a gray issue, and less than ideal for an ethics panel.
