No Alcohol Sales Before Noon

A bill to permanently fix the temporary Sunday beer and wine permit problem was signed by Governor Haley's desk on Friday. In addition to taking the temporary beer and wine law back to what it was prior to last year's legislative error that only allowed non-profits to obtain the permits, the bill also allows beer and wine only restaurants to obtain Sunday permits for the first time since Sunday sales began for restaurants over 20 years ago.
