Finding a response to possibility of Guantanamo detainees to Charleston

After recent word that Charleston's Navy brig was still a possible home for some Guantanamo detainees, South Carolina leaders continue to search for a response.

Governor Andre Bauer (a governor hopeful) has piped up and said the state's leaders need to come together to investigate the potential risk and then file an injunction blocking the transfer of detainees while the investigation is under way.

He said in statement:

I hope the Attorney General can obtain an emergency injunction against the Department of Defense or whoever is responsible for making the actual decision to transfer the detainees. This injunction would bar the transfer until he concludes his investigation into the safety of the detention facilities.
