P!ANO Man…and Woman: featuring Laura Ball and Friends

Join UNED!TED artists in the Charleston Music Hall on April 25th at 7pm to explore the world of Piano Women. Expand your musical palate with contemporary/classical composer pairings set to movement:

Sara Bareilles-Satie
Alicia Keys-Ginastera
Tori Amos-Beethoven
Regina Spektor-Schubert
Nellie McKay-Barber

Music History texts may be full of dead white men, but pianist Laura Ball, violinist Rachael Kistler and special guests create a living and vibrant evening of reimagined melodies where modern women stand as equals beside their historical male counterparts.

Tracing the evolution of the female composer through song and movement, professional dancers, choreographers and the Young Professional Dancers from Charleston Dance Institute (CDI) collaborate to devise an artistic world where works are not judged by the composer’s gender but by genius.

UNED!TED is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to integrating arts, cultures and communities through collaborative concert events and programs.
