Pawleys Island made the top of the list in National Geographic's Best Summer Trips 2012.

I'm not sure that "arrogantly shabby" is a terribly nice thing to say and some of the commenters gave the site some flack for using a photo of Litchfield for the write-up. Even still, nice to get some high brow recognition once in a while!
