Boating Safety Course

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 12-6 hosts Boating Safety Course at the Daniel Island Library on the 3rd Saturday of the month. This one day course, from 9AM to 5PM, will cover subjects like: underway preparations, legal requirements, navigation rules/charts, boating emergencies, operating your boat safely, federal/state boating regulations, and enjoying water sports. A fee of $30 per individual or $35 per family (up to six) will be charged to cover course materials. This course is certified by the USCG Auxiliary and the SCDNR.
