Rastafarian inmate wishing his dreads got locked up too

A Virginia court is taking a second look at the case of a South Carolina Rastafarian inmate who claimed that his religious rights were violated when prison staff cut off his hair.

The inmate, Kevin Smith, also known as "Bar-None Royal Blackness," states that the Rastafarian faith urges followers to let their hair grow unbridled.
