Mauldin teen confesses to calling in fake crime committed against herself

A Mauldin teen has been accused of calling 911 to report a fake attack on herself at a public park.
The girl placed a call to police that she had been beaten unconscious by a man who told authorities he had "killed" a girl in Mauldin's Sunset Park. The girl confessed to disguising her voice and making the call on Tuesday afternoon.
