Update: Fisher, who is accused of fatally hitting Froehlich, died after he was struck while ridding his bike on Folly Road.
Update November 1: Beau James Froehlich, the man who was struck on Folly Road by a drunken driver in the early morning hours of October 23rd died today.
The driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old Summerville resident Matthew Fisher has been charged with a second-degree felony DUI.
Both eyewitness reports and testimony in court have revealed that after leaving the Skinful Halloween party, Froehlich darted into the middle of Folly Road at the same time Fisher, who was leaving a different party on Folly Beach drove by.

Update October 25: Lots of attention has been turned toward the organizers of Skinful Halloween after a pedestrian was struck by a drunken driver outside of the party, but for the majority of other attendees of Saturday's event the general consensus was that is was one helluva good time.

First reporting: The date, details and lineup have been released for Charleston's wildest Halloween party, Skinful Halloween.
The 11th Annual Skinful Halloween will be taking place on the 12 acres surrounding the Brick House Kitchen on Folly Road on October 22nd. This is the same spot as last year, so heads up, wear some comfortable shoes cause you'll be hoofing it through some woodsy, uneven terrain.
Here's what the musical lineup, is looking like thus far:
Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys, Too Short, Dub Island and the Dubplates, Tanya Stephens, Key of Q, New Birth Brass Band, Entropy Ensemble, Sol Driven Train, DJ Moo Moo, DJ Natty Heavy, Ancient Intelligence, DJ Jake B, Disco Demolition Knights, Derek and the Derelicts, Red Super Giant, Captain Blackout, Weigh Station, Zumjay and much, much more
There will be six stages set up for live music, a zip line, urban wakeboarding, burlesque dancers, jump castles, a mechanical bull, circus acts, a hay ride and mind blowing lights and lazer shows.
If you purchase your tickets before October 12th, you'll score the early bird prices of $40 for general admission and $80 for VIP. VIPs will have access to a private lounge, private DJ and open bar. That's what's up.
REMINDER: There will be absolutely no outside coolers allowed at the party this year. There will be cash bars for general admission patrons.
