South Carolina's James "Bubba" Cromer, a Statehouse reading clerk by day and film director by night, thought he’d really made it when his film "The Hills Have Thighs” was scheduled to be shown on cable television.

Both The Movie Channel and Cinemax had The Hills Have Thighs, Cromer’s hillbilly farce, listed on their schedules. Cromer even heard a description of his movie coming up on a voice-over produced by The Movie Channel.

Or so he thought.

Little did Cromer know that both The Movie Channel and Cinemax were actually airing a soft-core porno of the same name. That's where the drama ensues.
