On Tuesday it wasn't the Marines on Parris Island, the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and the Beaufort Naval Hospital that went through rigorous testing -- it was their dogs.

Due to their aggressive tendencies, pit bulls, Rottweilers and canine-wolf mixes have been banned on the bases. The lucky dogs that passed the individual assessments got the OK to stay on base, but those that did not got the boot.
