Update, Oct. 23:
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of Wednesday's fatal small plane crash in Summerville, and a story in this morning's Post and Courier quotes family members as saying that pilot Peter Radding was a careful and experienced flyer. A preliminary report could be released in about a week.
Radding and passengers Dallas Carter, Randolph Hargenrader,and Edwin Steeble died in the crash. The Post and Courier has more about the victims this morning.
Update October 22:
Channel 5 has the names of three of the four victims, plus details about where they were headed.
Killed in the crash were James Randolph "Randy" Hargenradar, Edwin Steeble and Peter Radding. The plane was severely burned, making positive identification a slow process.
