If you're lounging around on the beach (as you should be) and happen to notice military planes flying overhead, towards you or buzzing around rather low don't worry the Russians aren't attacking. 

No, no Red Dawn going on, just a Marine training exercise that will be happening along the coast. The exercise called Exercise Mailed Fist, and is designed to test every type of Marine aircraft. So in short, it should be a pretty impressive show. 

The exercises are expected to last all week long, and those north or south of us are more likely to see all the action but we'll bet there will be some planes buzzing out beaches too.
