Kidd's Kids program to send three Myrtle Beach area children to Disney World

Three Myrtle Beach area kids were chosen to take an all-expenses paid trip to Disney World courtesy of the nationally syndicated morning radio show, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning.

Christina Powell, Cheyenne Snelling, and Olivia Troegner will enjoy the weekend getaway with their families this coming November as part of the Kidd's Kids program, designed to give chronically ill and physically challenged children a chance to just have fun.  In the meantime, Mix 97.7, the local station that airs Kidd Kraddick's show, is trying to raise funds to help with the costs.

Today, Tuesday, October 16, 2012, the community can go to the Zaxby’s on 544 or 38th Avenue and get a free Nibbler sandwich with a donation.  Tomorrow, Mix 97.7 will be live at the McDonald’s on 544 in Surfside from 7 to 10 a.m.  From noon to 3 p.m., they'll be broadcasting from the McDonald's in North Myrtle Beach, near Main Street. They'll finisht their day of fundraising at the Conway  location on 501 near Conway High School from 4 - 6 p.m.  Each stop on the tour will offer lots of giveaways.  You can check out Mix 97.7's efforts on their site.

Another opportunity for local listeners to contribute is through the Bids Bids for Kidd's Kid online auction. A few great items are up for grabs to the highest bidder.
