As expected, Hurricane Irene merely blew us a kiss as she danced by our little stretch of beach.

Aside from a couple of downed trees, the biggest damage done has been scattered power outages. Santee Cooper took to Facebook and Twitter to keep customers updated and Horry Electric did an even better job on their Facebook page. The Sun News has a nice aftermath story. Read it here.
