The Post and Courier has a great Veterans Day story of a black Union Civil War vet getting the recognition he deserves for his heroic service to the states almost 100 years after his death.

Henry Benjamin Noisette of Charleston finally got a proper service and veterans marker on his grave.

Noisette's service history was recently discovered by the African American Historical Alliance, and his story is brave and inspiring.

Hop over to the article in today's Post and Courier to learn more about Noisette and yesterday's service.
