Eight employees suing American College of the Building Arts (updated)

Update April 28: As promised, here's a link to the expanded report.

First reporting: Less than a week after news that the struggling American College of the Building Arts may be absorbed by the College of Charleston, The Post and Courier is reporting that eight professors from the American College of the Building Arts have sued the school, its president and the head of its finance department, claiming the college owes them hundreds of thousands in back wages.

The lawsuit, filed on April 12th, claims that the school neglected to honor employment contracts, and withheld payments of wages exceeding several hundred thousands of dollars.

The Post and Courier has a brief mention of the issue, but will have more on the story in tomorrow's edition.

We'll keep you posted.
