Update July 13:

The Post and Courier reports that the Carolina Polo and Carriage Company has requested that a jury consider the company's eleven code violations.

Each code violation is around a $1,100 penalty and the city could suspend the company's operations depending upon the trial's outcome.

First reporting:

Carolina Polo and Carriage Company will face a Charleston municipal court judge Monday, July 13, on six city code citations.

After being cited and given a two-day window to make necessary changes for the safety and health of the horses, Carolina Polo addressed only one of the six citations they faced.

The Post and Courier has the story.
