In a move that's entirely consistent with all the sucky weather we've had lately, the National Weather Service is forecasting, you guessed it, more sucky weather today.

Weather advisories state to expect light-to-heavy rain, widespread thunderstorm, and wind gusts of up to 45 mph throughout the day.

On the up side, highs are forecast to top out at 81 degrees today. So maybe its a good chance to go and get some soup.

There's also a tornado watch through 6 p.m.

In the words of the National Weather Service: "Chance of precipitation is 100%."

Update 2:45 p.m.: All the rain has helped fight a fire near the North Carolina border.
