Burroughs and Chapin continues to own the land that was home to the Pavilion Amusement Park until the park was demolished in 2006. The Myrtle Beach Downtown Redevelopment Corporation (DRC) leases the land on a year-to-year agreement. 

The DRC have plans for the site this Summer starting with MayFest. They also know what they aren't going to do with the land. WMBF has more .
