School board faces fundamental shift this election year
Five of the nine seats on the Charleston County School Board are being contested in the November 4 elections. With more than half the board possibly changing (and at least a third as three members aren't running for re-election) there could be a fundamental shift in the school board's tactics.
And with the debate about charter schools, this election could make a huge difference.
The Post and Courier has a pretty good write-up about the nuances of the issue. Go read and be an informed voter.
