As you may have heard, Charleston's (resident) mayor Joe Riley has some competition in the upcoming election. His name is David Farrow.

The Post and Courier's Edward M. Gilbreth sat down and had a talk with Farrow, a historian and author with no real political experience. The two chatted about Farrow's hopes for the city, local government and his campaign platform.
