Frankie Dangerfield was taking a shower at Pine Ridge Mobile Home Park in Berkeley County when a tree crashed through his roof and sent him to the hospital. While it sounds absurd and would be easy to laugh at, apparently he's in pretty serious condition.

Officials with the Berkeley County Rescue Squad confirms a tree has fallen through the roof of a home on Ridge Church Road in the Pine Ridge Mobile Home Park.

Officials tell us there was a man and a baby in the home at the time.

From ABC News 4:

According to neighbors his injuries were serious, including injuries to the head and neck. He was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina.

A relative told ABC News 4 the man received bruises on the brain and is heavily sedated at MUSC.
