Charleston School of Law grad posts 1,550 hours of public service

Peter Kaufman, a winter Charleston School of Law graduate has taken the "pay it forward" expression to a new level by posting the largest contribution of pro bono service hours of any student in the school's history.

Kaufman, 38, cranked out 1,550 hours of pro bono public service in the 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office. The school requirement: 30 hours.
