$500,000: Once again, back-to-back lottery winners in Charleston

Remember how in August there was odd news that two unconnected men won $300,000 from the lottery in Charleston just days apart? Well, the ante has officially been upped.

Upped to the tune of three winners and $500,000.

On Tuesday, October 11, the S.C. Education Lottery reported that a Summerville man asked a clerk at Oasis One Stop in Summerville for a recommendation of, "What's a good lottery ticket?" That cost hime $10 for a "Strike it Rich!" and won the unnamed Summerville man $200,000.

Then on Wednesday the lottery wrote that two more lottery winners happened in two days in North Charleston.

On Monday, a man won $100,000 at the Hess Express at 2685 Ashley Phosphate Road sold a ticket worth $100,000 to an unnamed North Charleston man thanks to a $5 Instant Carolina 5.

The next day and eight miles to the south at Kader Market Inc. at 3543 Dorchester Rd. a $10 Big Dollar Doubler ticket worth $200,000 was sold to an unnamed woman.

Makes you wonder, what are the odds?
