Charleston City Paper has put up photos from the Go Skateboarding Day contest at the Visitors Center bus shed last weekend. Check them out here.

It was a pretty big event, with City Paper reporting that around 50 skaters showed up. It's all about trying to raise money and awareness for Pour It Now, a nonprofit group working to get a skatepark built in Charleston.

The contest was supposed to be held June 21, the actual Go Skateboarding Day, but that event got rained out and had to be rescheduled.
