Years later, trial to begin in tragic death of two year old (Update: Conviction)

Update October 14: After deliberating for less than an hour on Thursday, a jury found Roger Williams guilty of homicide by child abuse.

Williams has no been sentenced to life in prison without parol.

First reporting October 8: More than two years after the tragic death of two-year-old Rodricus Williams, his father Roger "Tony" Williams is expected to go on trial this week.

Williams' remains were found in a trash can with concrete about a month after the child had died from blunt force trauma to the head.

The father's girlfriend, Grace Trotman, has already plead guilty to one count of homicide by child abuse and one count of desecration of human remains.
