St. John's High School students charged with armed robbery

Two students from John Island's St. John's High School have been charged with armed robbery after stealing a man's cell phone, keys and wallet.

On October 14th, Lannell Goodwine, 19, and Jozeph Gosh Lemon, 18, approached a Freshfields Village restaurant employee and forced him behind at bush with gun pointed at the back of his head and at his back. They stole his belongings, asked for his debit card pin number, then fled.

Luckily, the authorities were able to track transactions on the card following the robbery and identified Goodwine on an ATM surveillance video. Both Goodwine and Lemon were picked up this week and are currently being held at the Charleston County Detention Center pending bond hearings.
