Former North Charleston police officer Christine Lee Phinney has run into trouble with the law once again and is now facing charges of public intoxication.

Summerville Police arrested Phinney on Monday after receiving complaints of a woman walking in and out of traffic on Central Avenue -- the same road where her previous incident occurred. Less than a year ago, Phinney was removed from the North Charleston force after being pulled over for speeding and disobeying fellow officers on Christmas eve.
