Folly Beach stepping up summer enforcement

Folly Beach residents, newly elected Mayor Tim Goodwin and Public Safety Director Terry Boatwright are fed up with the amount of littering, underage drinking and problem parkers.

The city by the sea is stepping up law enforcement this summer to make sure everyone is following the rules.

Be on the lookout, if you can, for undercover or "low-profile" officers patrolling the sands looking to nab you litterbugs, sloppy drunks and unleashed dogs and underaged booze hounds.
