The resource-strapped South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has been moving resources away from enforcing state alcohol license regulations to focus on higher-priority things. To combat the new problem, SLED will start allowing local law enforcement to issue some alcohol citations to liquor license-holding establishments.
