A bizarre series of events unfolded in West Ashley on Wednesday.
As City of Charleston Police followed a trail from a copper theft scene, it lead them to a man they recognized, and when police arrived at his home the man refused to come out and threatened to harm himself.
Stranger still, while the man was taken into custody in on charges of first-offense criminal domestic violence, there's been no word on the copper aspect.
I'll point you to The Post and Courier for a brief report; read it here.
We'll be sure to keep you posted.
