In an effort to create more job opportunities in Horry County, the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation approved two deals that offer both cash and tax incentives to local companies.

Neither company can be named until the deals are inked. But one plans on hiring 140 employees and the other will have 80 positions opened. The terms of the MBREDC incentives require certain investments from the companies including the creation of a minimum number of above average, benefitted jobs.
