First reporting: Live 5 News has a text and video report on the news. On the upside I now know what a slewing ring looks like and is for.
Oh, and while there's no specific news on this thread, it's interesting that slewing rings are often used in wind turbines -- which is something else theres been a lot of news about in Charleston.
