A big announcement was made during Wednesday's Economic Outlook Conference: the Port of Charleston saw a 23 percent growth in exports in 2010, bumping South Carolina up to the No. 17 position in the country for exports goods.

So, what does No. 17 in the country amount to? Oh, just a little something to the tune of $20 billion in exported goods to 192 countries.

The Post and Courier has a write-up on the announcement along with additional information on the top 10 exported goods.
