Boeing receives order for 11 Dreamliners, but is still -59 in the hole

A week after the successful Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight, the company has received an order from an undisclosed buyer for 11 of the jet aircrafts.

Read more stories on this subject in our Boeing topic page.Despite the national attention the Dreamliner is garnering and the proven success of it's flying capabilities, Boeing reports that 83 orders for the jets have been canceled resulting in an annual total of -59 net orders.

The Boeing powers that be don't seem to be too worried though. They are banking on the orders to continue to roll in and have recently secured a $264 million Defense Department contract last week.
