The Post and Courier writes that virtually all of Shem Creek's commercial fishing boats have gone.
It's a trend that is going on all across the Lowcountry and country as tighter regulation and vanishing fish choke the industry.
The disappearance of commercial fishing (particularly their jobs) is sad, but we've all known this day was coming for a long time.
