Interested in a low-speed electric vehicle to get around the neighborhood and do some nearby shopping? Well, one Mount Pleasant auto dealer is hoping you're not the only one.

Bavarian Luxury Auto Sales has ordered a test batch of the Korean-built low-speed compact electric vehicles called "e-ZONE." They recharge with a standard electric outlet, have a trunk and go up to 25 mph.

They remind of a golf cart turned car.

The Post and Courier has an interview with the dealer and more about the cars, read their piece here.

A 2009 model is listed for sale at $14,432 on the dealer's Web site. You can add a sunroof and airbags.
