Funerals held for the three dead in Sandy Island boating accident
The Myrtle Beach Sun News writes about the funeral service for the three that died in last week's boating accident:
Three matching white caskets lined the front of Waccamaw High School's gymnasium.
Beyond them, about 2,000 mourners, sitting and standing, spent three hours praying, listening to hymns, and sharing memories of Shaquatia Robinson, 19; her mother, Lou Ann Robinson, 47; and Waccamaw High School senior Rishard Pyatt, 18.
Truly tragic.
The 11-month-old that spent time in the frigid water is still in critical condition.
