Lowcountry Autism Foundation hosts Oysters for Autism at Bowens Island

 The Lowcountry Autism Foundation is set to shuck some hot steamy oysters for a cause at the ever popular Bowens Island, www.bowensislandrestaurant.com on Sunday, November 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets may be purchased online at www.lafinc.org.

 The menu for the event includes oysters, chili and hotdogs and also includes non-alcoholic beverages. Beer, wine and other “adult” beverages will be available for purchase. Entertainment will be provided by Bateman’s Stud Farm. There will be a silent auction with items ranging from spa visits to golf outings.

 Sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from banner sponsors at $400 to a Presenting Platform/Naming Sponsor level at $5000.

 The Lowcountry Autism foundation is the Family Support Services provider to MUSC’s Children’s Hospital and MUSC Hospital. Family Support Services is a key component to the continuum of care, which helps establish MUSC Health as a Certified Autism Friendly Hospital
